Zombie Uprising.

I'm feeling really grumpy today. Spent the night on the roof of our one-story home. We were lucky, we had time to grab some things so it wasn't too uncomfortable. But my idea of a night under the stars doesn't include the stench and constant moaning from roving hordes of zombies.

The couple across the street did pretty much the same thing. They're both military, so they had fun challenging one another over headshots until the power died. Would you believe I called the power company to report the outage? It turns out the new lady next door has brass ones when she's carrying a shotgun. She and her little dog spent the night with us on the roof. I feel kind of sick thinking about the Montressori school down the street; there were a lot of small zombies. I'm not sure about what happened to the other neighbors yet. The Guard hasn't let us back into the area.
